Library Programs- Check out local libraries for on-going children and adult programs including Baby time with stories and songs, and tween girls book club!

Carleton Place Vendors Market- Every sunday 10am-4pm at the Army Navy Air Force Club 315 Townline rd East. Vendors always needed, $30 per table.

Activities at Dandelion Kids Stitsville- Check out their website at www.dkids.ca. They have teamed up with ELEMENOPAINT for some in-store activities, as well as children’s safety programs, regular story times and chat time with a Nutritionist on Tuesdays, as well as a Thursday craft morning. More to come!

Gaia Java Coffee Company Ltd. Shop’s Music nights Stittsville- Friday evenings, no charge, just drop in have a latte and enjoy the music!

Creative Writing Group Stittsville- Meeting thursdays at the Stittsville branch of the Ottawa Public Library from 6-730pm. Drop in or call

EVENTS IN CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER
Santa Clause Parade Richmond- Dec 1 at 11am
Starting at Sacred Heart High School on Mcbean, the floats will travel down Mcbean and then Perth st to finish at Richmond Plaza where chili will be served for everyone!

Annual Lighting of the Park, Richmond- Dec 1 at 6pm
This takes place at Memorial Park to unveil this year’s winter street banners.

Annual Bake Sale Richmond- Dec 1 from 930am-1pm
St. Philip’s Parish on the corner of Burke st and Fortune st will hold their annual bake sale in the church all, everyone welcome.

Village Bakefest Ashton- Dec 1 from 10am-2pm
The Bakefest will be held at Christ Church in Ashton.

Annual Christmas Bazaar Stittsville- Dec 1 10am-2pm
Held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Stittsville. Baked goods and preserves, handmade jewelry, hot luncheon, all welcome!

Craft sale and Bazaar Stittsville- Dec 1 from 10am-2pm
Organized by Cheer Sport Sharks Ottawa at 119 Iber rd in Stittsville. Santa will be there from 11am-1pm, silent auction and everyone welcome!

Author Sandra Nikolai Book Signing- December 1 from 11am-130pm

Christmas Concert featuring the Capital City Chorus- December 1 at 7pm
This barbershop signing group will perform at St. Thomas Anglican Church in Stittsville. Tickets $15 each, everyone welcome!

3rd annual Royal Ball- December 2, 1-4pm

Annual Seniors Christmas Dinner Richmond- December 2 at 1pm
Those 70 years and older are welcome to enjoy a free turkey dinner at the Richmond Legion Hall on Ottawa st. Bring a non perishable food item for donation and contact Hilda Moore at 613.838.2274.

A Uniquely Goulbourn Art and Craft Sale- December 2 from 1pm to 4pm
Held at the G oulbourn Museum at Stanley’s Corners just south of Stittsville. Baked goods, art, copper jewelery and free admission.

Christmas Jubilee Christmas Concert- December 8 at 730 and December 9th at 130pm

Samantha’s Sweet Boutique Open House- December 8 from 1-4pm
Plenty of delectable delights available for purchase (and sampling of course) and will also be taking orders to be filled before the holidays. Please drop in at your convenience between 1pm and 4pm at 14 Fortune Street, Richmond, K0A 2Z0.

People Savers Level 1 course- Dec 8 from 3-4pm.
This course is geared to 5&6 year olds.  The cost is $10, and it will be held at Dandelion Kids.  1300 Stittsville Main St. in Stittsville. Please email Angela at or call her at to register.

Red Cross Babysitters Course- Dec 9 from 9-4.
This course is geared for 11-15 year olds.  The cost is $55.  It will be held at Sobeys in Stittsville (6315 Hazeldean Rd. @ Carp Rd).  Registration is either at Sobeys Customer Service, or by contacting Angela at or at .

Youth Connexion Holiday Party- December 15 from 1pm-3pm
It will be held at the Pretty st Community Center in Stittsville for those in grades 5-8. This event is $7 and will feature gingerbread making, christmas movies, games, and snacks. Visit www.youthconnexion.ca

Magic Christmas Moons- Decemer 15th at 11am
