“Every day, on average, 4 Canadians are killed and 174 are injured in impairment-related crashes. We estimate between 1,250 and 1,500 people are killed and more than 63,000 are injured each year in Canada in impairment-related crashes.” (MADD)
On Sunday October 14th, The Ottawa Valley Moms are walking to raise awareness for Mothers Against Drunk Driving. Funds raised from this event will go to programs such as Victim Services, and Public Education.
If you would like to get involved you can do one of two things.
#1 come out and join us for the 5K walk. We have registered a team under Ottawa Valley Moms. Join the team and walk with us. We would love to meet you. If you are interested in joining our team, Click HERE. You will need to input the team password. The password is mef53hux.
#2 donate to the cause. We have a goal to raise $1000. You can go online and make a pledge. You can find my page here:
