Epicure’s Lemon Dilly Chicken

Epicure’s Lemon Dilly Chicken

  • Delicious

I’m always on the look-out for chicken recipes that I can add to my family’s dinner repertoire! Like most of you out there I’m sure, chicken is a staple in our house for dinner and sometimes finding yummy recipes can be hard. A couple of years ago I was invited to an Epicure Selections party at my friend’s house and I was really impressed with the product and the company. Epicure is a Canadian, family-owned, women-led company that offers the finest quality food products. One of their most popular products are their dip mixes, and Lemon Dilly is definitely one of my favourite ones, so when I was looking for different ways to use the mixes I thought why not look at chicken recipes; this is one of our favourites.

Epicure’s Lemon Dilly Chicken

Makes 6 servings
Prep Time: 5-10 mins
Cook Time: 20 mins

2 Tbsp Olive Oil
6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup prepared Epicure’s Chicken Bouillon
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp Epicure’s Lemon Dilly Dip Mix
Epicure’s Sea Salt to taste
Epicure’s Black Pepper to taste
1 Tbsp Epicure’s 3 Onion Dip Mix

1. Heat oil in Epicure’s Eclipse® Coated Professional Frying Pan. Cook chicken over medium heat 3 minutes per side, or until golden brown.
2. Whisk together Chicken Bouillon, lemon juice, and Lemon Dilly Dip Mix.
3. Pour over chicken. Heat to boiling, then immediately reduce heat to a simmer and cook for 10–15 minutes, or until thickest part of chicken is no longer pink.
4. Transfer chicken to a serving plate. Bring sauce back to a boil for 2 minutes, or until reduced by half. Season to taste with Sea Salt and Black Pepper. Add 3 Onion Dip Mix and pour over chicken.

One thing I like about Epicure’s Recipe website is that it gives you the nutritional information and the cost per serving.

I hope your family enjoys this chicken recipe and that it becomes part of your dinner repertoire.
