THIRD WORLD BAZAAR – MANOTICK
EVERY WEEKEND UNTIL NOVEMBER 18, 2012
The Third World Bazaar is a family business that purchases products from around the developing world and sells directly to consumers in the Ottawa area. The Bazaar operates over a six week period where products are sold in a large barn, with a festive atmosphere. They bring a wide range of exotic and interesting home décor, garden, musical instruments, art, furniture, and a wide range of other products to their customers.

ROCKCLIFFE PARK BOOK FAIR – OTTAWA
FRIDAY NOVEMBER 2 – SUNDAY NOVEMBER 4, 2012
Book Fairs bring communities together around books. This year, the Rockcliffe Park Book Fair is conjuring up more magic than ever as it celebrates books and readers with a nod to the magical world of Hogwarts and Harry Potter with its theme The Magic of Reading.

2012 OTTAWA VALLEY CAT SHOW – NEPEAN

The Cats are Back! The Ottawa Valley Cat Club’s furry fall bonanza is taking place November 3-4 at the Nepean Sportsplex from 9:00 am – 5:00pm. Come and see stunning purebred cats like the Maine Coon, Siamese, Cornish Rex, and Bengals as well as the beautiful household pets. Sit in on a variety of special presentations or shop at our vendors featuring special products and services for cats and their owners. Entrance is only $5.00 for children (5-12yrs) + seniors and $7.00 for adults. Don’t forget to vote for your favourite cat in show!

2012 HELP SANTA TOY PARADE – OTTAWA
SATURDAY NOVEMBER 17, 2012 at 11:00AM
For the past 40+ years, the Help Santa Toy Parade, hosted by the Ottawa Professional Fire Fighters Association, in conjunction with the Salvation Army and local merchants, has brought Santa Claus to the National Capital area. The parade, which is viewed by over 120,000 street side spectators and by thousands more when it is televised live on CTV Ottawa, officially marks the season of giving. While enjoying the parade’s floats, marching bands, carolers and clowns, Fire Fighters walk along the parade route and collect toys and donations for the community’s underprivileged children. To date, over 700,000 toys have been distributed and over $1,600,000 raised. THE SUBURBAN CRAFT SHOW – NEPEAN
SATURDAY NOVEMBER 17, 2012
There will be over 30 vendors at The Suburban Craft Show featuring artisan food, art, home decor, jewellery and accessories. Visit them from 10:00am-3:00pm at Ben Franklin Place, 101 Centerpointe Dr. FREE admission and FREE parking. You don’t have to go downtown to find ‘awesome.’
