for the CHEO Children’s Gala. Total value is $300!

The Ottawa Children’s Gala is the only one of its kind in Ottawa: a formal gala filled with entertainment for both children and adults all in the beautiful setting of Hampton Inn Ottawa and Conference Centre’s Grand Ballroom. We will have a red carpet complete with a professional photographer, a classy meal, exciting entertainment and, of course, a dance. Lianne Laing of Ottawa’s CTV Morning Show will host our gala and will be joined on stage by several VIP local celebrities. The Ottawa Children’s Gala will be a night to remember for the families in attendance!

    I would LOOOOVE this! Firstly, the only things I do are with my daughter, so this would make for a wonderful night out for us. Secondly, my daughter was in CHEO for 5 weeks at birth and because of them, she is still here today therefore I think this is great that the proceeds are going to them!! Love it.

    Well like everyone, we love Cheo. We have two kids that are yearly monitored there in their genetics department and we are very pleased. A night out to support them is a wonderful tribute!

    A night out for CHEO would be amazing! This place saved my brother's life many years ago after a sliding accident. Now that I have a child of my own I would not hesitate to take my son there as I know he would receive the best care! A night out at this amazing event with my son and my hubby would be an honour!

    This is a truly magical event and if I am fortunate enough to win this would be a very special gift for one of our Wish Foundation little girls and her Mom. Truly the kids we serve would love a special night like this and I would have no problem finding the right family for this magical event.     I "liked" and "followed" and told them OVM sent me! Why would I want to win this prize? I think it would be amazing to experience this event. I don't know any family that doesn't support CHEO and the great work they do. So many local families have been touched by health scares and tragedies. Many have children that have been under the excellent care of the doctors, nurses and specialists there. Everytime we go there I am amazed at the bravery of the sick children I see in the halls and by the courage of the parents facing difficult circumstances. Luckily for us, while my daughter has been treated at CHEO it hasn't been life threatening. I simply want to go to show my support and see the smiles on all of those beautiful children, including my own.

    I have never been to an event like this. We are very lucky to have CHEO nearby and have been there often with our kids. I'm sure my DD would love to get all dressed up!
