Sparkly Pine Cone Christmas Ornament Craft for Kids (As Seen On the OVM Show!)
Arts and Crafts

If you caught our first episode of The Ottawa Valley Moms show, you will know this is the craft that I made! It is a SUPER easy, fun (and messy!) craft for your kids to make over the holiday season! Whether they are used as a gift for a grandparent or teacher, or maybe used as decoration when wrapping a present, or simply just hung on your own tree, they are inexpensive way to get your kids crafting and into the Christmas spirit!
If you missed the show, you can catch it here!
What you will need!
-
pine cones (the ones I got here are from Dollarama, they are red and come all ready with a string to use for hanging)
-
white kids glue
-
sparkles, sparkles, SPARKLES!!
-
wax paper and/or disposable plates
(all my items were bought at Dollarama, so for 12 of these it literally cost $4.52!)
Directions!
-
On little disposable plates (or pieces of wax paper), pour out your glue.
-
Do the same with your sparkles, pour them out so that you can roll your pine cones covered in glue in them!
-
Roll the tips of your pine cone in the glue.
-
Then carefully roll your pine cone covered in glue in your desired colour of sparkles!
-
Have a piece of wax paper set aside to place your wet sparkly pine cones on to dry.
-
Once they are dry, you are able to use them as gifts, gift decoration or on your tree!
