Library Programs- Check out local libraries for on-going children and adult programs including Baby time with stories and songs, and tween girls book club!

Carleton Place Vendors Market- Every sunday 10am-4pm at the Army Navy Air Force Club 315 Townline rd East. Vendors always needed, $30 per table.

Activities at Dandelion Kids Stitsville- Check out their website at www.dkids.ca. They have teamed up with ELEMENOPAINT for some in-store activities, as well as children’s safety programs, regular story times and chat time with a Nutritionist on Tuesdays,  as well as a Thursday craft morning.  More to come!

Hosted by the Ottawa West Arts Association (owaa) at the Goulbourn Recreation Complex on Shea rd and includes free ice cream and cake, music, children’s craft table, door prizes and Art!

Fall Turkey Supper Richmond- November 3rd 430pm-7pm
At St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church on McBean st. $15 for adults and $7 for kids ages 6-12. Call 838-5432 or 838-3723 for tickets.

Annual Craft and Bake Sale Stittsville- November 3rd 10am-2pm

St Thomas Anglican Church Snowflake Bazaar and Luncheon- November 3rd, 11am-2pm
St. Thomas Anglican Church, corner of Stittsville Main Street & Carleton Cathcart Street. St. Mary’s Parish Christmas Bazaar- November 10th, 10am-2pm

Come shop at our crafts or bake tables. You will also find some Christmas crafts and Christian Christmas cards.  Find a previously loved book or item at our book table or our jewellery table. Take a chance on our raffle or on a mystery bag and then stay to enjoy a delicious lunch of homemade soup or chili with roll, homemade pie and coffee or tea. Ladies Night Out: A Stittsville Women’s Show- November 15th, 7-9pm

The 2nd Annual Ladies’ Night Out is a fun Christmas shopping evening benefiting the Stittsville Co-operative Nursery School! Interested in being a vendor? Be sure to reserve your spot as soon as possible as tables SOLD OUT last year! Location: Sacred Heart High School Atrium Registration: Sat Oct 20th – Fri Nov 9th. Tables may be reserved for $45 each. Vendors are free to keep 100% of the sales from the evening.

Stittsville Parade of Lights- November 24th 630 pm

The SVA’s annual Parade of Lights is a community favourite, drawing thousands of spectators along the parade route. Each year, dozens of beautifully decorated community floats set the tone for Santa’s much anticipated arrival at the end of the parade. Contact  for information about registering a float.

Stittsville Seasons Greetings Craft Show- November 24th and 25th

This year’s local show will once again support the Ottawa Humane Society.  Show runs on Saturday and Sunday, November 24th and 25th from 10am until 4pm at the Stittsville Arena on Warner-Colpitts Drive.
