I would love this! We have a 15 month old so it's hard to get out and have time to ourselves. Also my husband leaves in for 6 months soon, so it would be a great last date night for a long while.

Why, because I am a mother of two and a wife to one. Because I work three jobs and run my own business. Because I can't remember my last holiday and because I really really really want to win!!

We would love a night away, just the two of us (can't remember the last time we did). Also our kids are skiing now, so it would be great to check out Calabogie Peaks as a possible family getaway spot to go with the kids another time.

I wish I could say I have a unique reason but, in truth, it's the same as every other Mom and Dad ... my husband and I could really use some alone time and a good night's sleep. Do I deserve it more? No. Do I want it more? No. Do I need it more? No. Every parent wants, deserves and needs some alone time together. I'm not special. Just an everyday OVM Mom hoping she gets lucky. Thanks for the opportunity.

I need a getaway! Life is crazy! I have 4 kids, and run 2 businesses - I have not had a moment to myself in so long! I have 3 weekends in a row completely devoted to volunteering for my community and I'm hoping once those weekends are over that I can get away... love OVM and Calabogie Peaks! Great contest! Thanks! :D

We would love a night away! A night free of whining, know it all(God love them) teenagers and an adorable Autistic 4 yr old who thinks its funny when Mommy has to clean up poo from EVERYWHERE. It would also be nice to have some private time with my husband who works 14 hr days....I miss his face!

I would love to win this contest for my parents, my mom and dad are the most supportive parents I could have ever asked for. When I had my twin girls 5 years ago my mom drove from Haley's to Kanata every week and stayed for two or three days to help me out! She can't work due to a very bad back and a back operation years ago that has made it worse. My dad is the most kind man I have ever met, he would give his time to anyone that needed help. My dad is in his mid 60's and no where able to retire....I don't think my parents have every stayed in a place as beautiful as "The Peaks"....they just celebrated their anniversary and this would be the best gift I could give them!

I'm a full time working mom with three little ones 6, 4, and 22 months. Every mom and dad deserves a night away. I know I would love one. Can you imagine kidd-less for one night? One whole night... hmmm I wonder what that is like? One whole night away and doesnt include giving birth or sitting at CHEO with a sick kid... Its been 6 years and I really dont know what that is like!

My husband and I will be celebrating our 5th anniversary at the start of December. With 2 boys under 3, me going back to work not to mention 3 birthdays, our anniversary, and Christmas all crammed into 2 months our anniversary will likely be taking a back seat. It would be so great to get a little time to ourselves to celebrate and relax!

I have a 2 and a half year old who still wakes up about 3 to 5 times a night! A night away where I can sleep through the whole night and wake up refreshed would be the MOST AMAZING thing that has happened to me since my baby was born!

Well obviously every busy mom would love 5 minutes alone with their husband let alone a whole evening! Being a mom of three(4 if you include our new pup!) there is never a quiet moment! Whether it's a baby screeching for affection, batman flying through the house, or a know it all 10 year old asking 'can I... Can I... Can I?' For the 20th time! My house may be chaotic at times, but I wouldn't change that noise for anything in the world! But every now and then you NEED a break, even if it means the whole evening you talk about yours kids lol! I would LOVE a romantic evening with my husband where we could focus on just 'us' the entire evening!

My husband and I would love this! We got married there in May 2012 and had an amazing time! Since then, we have welcomed our beautiful daughter. Our intention was always to go back for our anniversary, but I was 9 months pregnant and my hubby was too nervous to take me away :( Now that she's 4 months old- it would be a wonderful excuse to have some couple time!

My husband and I had a romantic evening at calabogie peaks resort many many years ago. I have been wanting to go back every anniversary but have yet to do so. We just celebrated our 27th wedding anniversary this month what a wonderful gift it would be to go back! Although my children are grown, I'm an ottawa valley nana to 6 beautiful grand kids, and I'm not even 50! This year has been the hardest year of mine and my husbands life. 11 months ago I found out I had cancer, 8 months ago I was told my cancer was untreatable, uncurable, and was given a short time limit on my life. 4 months ago I was told I kicked cancers BUTT!!!!! My husband and I would love a night away to relive old memories and celebrate life and celebrate miracles!

Hi OVM's. We could really use a night away to unwind, relax & reconnect as a couple. Our 13 year wedding anniversary is coming up on November 14th, so it would be perfect timing. We never get away & I would love to surprise him with this, for all he does for our family & for being such a wonderful & supportive husband :) Thanks for the chance to win, Tanya

We would love a night to ourselves. My fiance works nights and works every single weekend, we dont get to see him much or spend "family" time together not to mention ALONE time. He works very hard to provide for us and we never have had a night away or a nigt to show him how much we appreciate it. Not to mention we have never really been anywhere together. We have both suffered great losses in our lives the last few years. His mother unexpectedly passed away and we lost both my grandparents whom I was extremely close to. it would be nice to sit the troubles on the shelf for a night.. Thanks for the chance to win! Good luck to everyone.

My husband and I would sooo appreciate a night away.....I was laid off in September so $$ is especially tight right now. Money is definitely a source of stress!! Our 6th wedding anniversary is Nov. 25th, and we normally just do a dinner out, but it really is not in our budget right now!! This would be a great break for us, having a 4 yr old and 2 yr old at home. I can't remember the last time we had a date so we would definitely enjoy the time together to relax! Good luck to everyone, after reading all the notes there isn't anyone who wouldn't be deserving!!!!! :D

Honestly I just want to win something I've been entering contest all over Facebook and I never win I'm trying to win a date for me and my husband with the littler one it's hard to go out and spend money when you know you need the money for other stuff as important as it is for my husband and I to have time alone together it doesn't happen anymore so if I won something I would have a reason to go out without having to worry about using my daughters pamper money or our essentials money

Same as the others. Havent had a night without my kids for over 9 years. Four kids, not much alone time. Plus, no extra money to do it. Winning this would be fab.

It's been so long since my husband and I have been able to connect without any distractions. We would love an excuse to HAVE to leave the house for a night and spoil one another. I'd miss our lil guy, but I also miss my sleep :)

I would love a night in a big fluffy bed in a quiet room in to catch up on my REM sleep! At home I sleep with one ear open just in case my kids need me. I'm also shift worker so I struggle with balancing my time with my kids and husband when trying to pay the bills and provide for my family. Its amazing what just one night can change..

I would like to see my husband for more then 2 hours. I have been working nights and when I am home with him he is doing his homework. A night out would be nice.

I would love a getaway. It has been forever since I truly got to relax. I have the same story as the rest of the lovely mama's, I am no more deserving then anyone else. We are busy and we all need a break! I am surrounded by the energy of children. My twin girls are two and I recently had a little boy who is four months old. During the weekdays I also watch two little boys who are three and six. I love being with the kids, but sometimes their excessive bouncing and incontrolable energy levels are exhausting. We are tired. We are too young to be so tired. We need to recharge! My husband works hard to provide for our family and I work hard to keep it running smoothly. We would love to win a getaway to relax and reconnect. But no matter the outcome, I know a deserving soul will win this prize. I am so happy you are running this contest!
